MASKED Singer fans think Robobunny could be The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue – and bookies think he’s a possibility too.

Betfair has the Irish pop star, 41, as their second favourite behind the hotly-tipped Westlife singer Mark Feehily.

Former Voice judge Danny definitely has the vocal chops to be behind the character’s huge range but it remains to be seen if the clues lead to him.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Danny O’Donoghue is a good shout too. Amazing multi faceted voice.”

A second posted: “really really think robobunny could be @TheScript_Danny.”

A third said: “I think Robobunny is danny from the script.”

The carrot chomping character stumped the judges on Saturday by ‘duetting’ with themselves for The Music Of The Night from The Phantom Of The Opera.

The mix of high and low notes is proving to be one of the series’ biggest challenges for armchair sleuths.

Robobunny said at the weekend: “You guys have been asking how you get built like me. I never leave the hutch without carrot capsules, great for the eyesight, and grease – that’s great for oiling those squeaky joints.”

Ray Quinn, 33, is another name that’s been thrown into the ring given he has starred in Grease the musical on two occasions, once as Doody in 2008 and then as leading man Danny Zuko a year later.

He shot to fame in 2006 after coming runner-up to Leona Lewis on the third series of The X Factor and has since taken part in – and won – Dancing on Ice twice, first in 2009 and then again for the All Star series in 2014.

In 2018 he joined the cast of Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, playing right-wing extremist Jonny Baxter before leaving a year later.

When the pandemic hit, Ray revealed he was working as a courier for delivery service Hermes.

And last year he joined brothers Darren and Robin to work for the family carpet fitting business.
